Minae Elena Kim leads NYU's Ice Cream Queen, selected for the Asian American International Film Festival and Urbanworld, and Unknown, and appears in Netflix's Kinda Pregnant, the Amazon Prime feature Indian Cowboy, and Green Night, which premiered at the Berlinale and screened at the Busan International Film Festival in 2023. Her lead in Hysteria took the Silver Award at the 24th Korea International Youth Film Festival.

In 2025 she starred in Lena Park's music video We Were More Beautiful. Between 2018 and 2019 she produced two stand-up showcases in Los Angeles and performed at Gotham and Broadway Comedy Club in New York, placing second in the London Local Stand-Up Comedy Competition. Her first short film as writer and director, On the Queensboro Bridge, arrives in fall 2026.

김민애는 뉴욕대(NYU) 졸업작품 「Ice Cream Queen」(아시안 아메리칸 국제영화제·어반월드 영화제 초청)과 「Unknown」에서 주연을 맡았으며, 넷플릭스 「Kinda Pregnant」, 아마존 프라임 비디오 상업영화 「Indian Cowboy」, 그리고 2023년 베를린국제영화제와 부산국제영화제에서 상영된 「그린 나이트」에 출연했습니다. 주연작 「Hysteria」는 제24회 대한민국국제청소년영화제에서 은상을 수상했습니다.

2025년 박정현의 뮤직비디오 「풍경보다 아름다운」에 주연으로 출연했습니다. 2018–2019년에는 로스앤젤레스에서 두 편의 스탠드업 쇼를 프로듀싱하고 뉴욕 고담 코미디 클럽과 브로드웨이 코미디 클럽 무대에 올랐으며, 런던 로컬 스탠드업 코미디 경연대회에서 2위를 차지했습니다. 각본과 연출을 맡은 첫 단편 「퀸즈보로 브릿지 위에서」는 2026년 가을 공개 예정입니다.
